Detailed Product Description
  VA2V-150

The C.A. Designs VA2V-150 is a six-output VGA video distribution amplifier, supporting resolutions of up to 800x600, non-interlaced.

Features include:

  • Adjustable signal compensation (in ten steps) is provided for 0-150 metres of special multicore cable

    •  
  • Any output may be converted to monochrome using internal link selection

For cable lengths:

  • Longer than 0.5 metres, cable type greatly affects picture quality

    •  
  • Up to 30 metres use a high quality (low capacitance) video cable

    •  
  • From 30 metres and up to 150 metres; the unit has in-built cable-loss compensation for a specific cable type (Belden 9730). This cable must be made up using exact connection details (please refer to our associated datasheet). Suitable cables of this specification are available pre-manufactured from C.A. Designs (LD5*).

Other low-loss cable types may be used but the compensation provided by these products may not be accurate.
