TP2L-0
The C.A. Designs twisted-pair video drivers TP2L-0, TP2L-200, TP4L-0 and
TP4L-200 are parts of a line interface for the transport of multiple video signals, throughout buildings wired with CAT5 cable systems, to up to two or four remote monitor screens (with one local output).
The TP2/4L-0/200 transforms the VGA / SVGA / XGA video output from a PC graphics adapter into a differential composite analogue video format suitable for transmission over twisted-pair cables.
Synchronisation pulses of any polarity are accepted and may be recreated at the receiving end of each remote output by a TP1V-100 receiver (or TP1A-100 for RGB input monitors).
The twisted-pair cable used must be CAT5 grade or better (depending on length and acceptable quality) and be correctly terminated at each remote end using a C.A. Designs twisted-pair video receiving unit (TP1A-100 or TP1V-100).
Excellent picture quality is obtained from the TP2/4L-0 with a TP1V-100 up to 100m and TP2/4L-200 with a TP1V-100 up to 300m.
The unit is powered from a separate +12v regulated power supply (e.g. MP1A / FL).
Power is sent over the transmission link to each receiver which requires no other external power supply.
