The C.A. Designs PC mouse converter system MC1B enables a serial port compatible mouse signal to be input to a PC mouse port. These units are primarily used where insufficient serial ports are available, or when software demands that a PS/2-type mouse be used when this is inconvenient or impossible. Power is derived from the computer and no additional connections are required. The unit comprises one small module connected to the computer PS/2 type mouse port via a flying lead. The mouse (or similar serial signal) is input via a 9-pin D connector. |
