The C.A. Designs KC2A keyboard converter allows keyboard scan codes to be converted to ASCII and sent to an RS232 serial port ( simultaneously with the keyboard port).This allows data to be input to a separate application without affecting the normal flow of data between the keyboard and it's computer host. This converter is fully optically-isolated from the keyboard. Power is provided externally. Several configurations are internally switch selectable. |
