The C.A. Designs KC1B keyboard protocol converter allows a PS/2-type keyboard port to be driven from an external serial data source.
Scan codes input in serial form through an RS232 (asynchronous) serial port are converted to synchronous "keyboard-like" signals.
The PC will power up as if a real keyboard is present.
Incoming serial data must be single ASCII codes and should not arrive faster than 1200 baud.
