DKM1B
The C.A. Designs dummy keyboard and mouse system DKM1B enables an IBM PS/2-compatible computer to be booted up without a keyboard or mouse attached. Note that the associated mouse driver will still be loaded, displaying the mouse pointer.
Microcontrollers emulate a standard keyboard and mouse so the PC behaves as if a standard keyboard and mouse are present.
Power is derived from the computer and no additional connections are required.
The unit comprises one small module connected to the computer via two flying leads terminated in 6-pin mini-DIN plugs.
